With the Sonopuls 490, you have all the possibilities for the universal application of ultrasound with two ultrasound frequencies: 1 and 3 MHz. These frequencies have different absorption characteristics so that both surface and deep tissue structures can be treated selectively. Both continuous and pulsed applications of ultrasound are possible. The combination of the high power of 2 W/cm2 with the large ERA (Effective Radiation Area) of the Enraf-Nonius ultrasound heads ensure that you can treat at great depth and that you can reduce the treatment time compared with lower dosage equipment. In addition, the Sonopuls 490 features ten pre-programmed protocols and has the possibility to store ten of your own protocols. As a result the Sonopuls 490 is exceptionally easy to operate. The updated Sonopuls 490 is a mains-powered piece of equipment. This means the Sonopuls 490 is ready for use throughout the day. In addition, for ambulatory treatment or treatment at home, a rechargeable battery can be supplied as an option. Combination therapy By means of a connection cable (optional acccessory), the Sonopuls 490 can be used in combination with the all the electrotherapy units of the 4-, 5- and 9-series.
